Courage, Daring, Audacious!

Many of us show courage in different forms like taking a small step towards a larger goal or overcoming overwhelming odds with emotions of hopelessness, despair, and anxiety in nature. I believe there are two types of courage: one is direct like fighting a powerful enemy, and the second is indirect like fighting endless battles from within. The latter can be exemplified with coping with mental illness or overcoming mental health challenges.

Many of us in today’s world are daring enough to stand up to authority and question them in order to stand up for the people that are oppressed and/or marginalized. The courage comes from noticing that many things are flawed like us and are subject to change. This in itself is courage because people that want to change the world, or even the ideology of how people perceive the world, are often not hesitant to do so. That is why people that study or work ruthlessly in pursuit for their dreams and aspirations to be fulfilled are often at the top of the world. Those that lack motivation or drive of any sort are often looked down upon. Many of the older generations revolutionized the world during their time and today’s generation continues to revolutionize theirs.  It takes courage to be deviant.

Deviant means to deviate from a set of norms that society may force us to adhere, though we may find it valid for today’s society.

That is why I encourage my fellow readers and bloggers to have the courage to move forward despite the naysayers, critics, and people that underestimate you. Just like how a small snowflake can cause an avalanche, one idea one can make the world quake beneath one’s feet. Because let’s face it, only we have the key to our life and only we can its possibilities. When you prove everyone wrong the world itself begins to change because no one understands how one that was average became exceptional. There is beauty in surprising the people that underestimate you with your achievements I believe that an average individual or a group that is working hard towards something that they believe wholeheartedly while disregarding everything and everyone that stands in their way is a prime example of courage.

Courage is not the absence of fear it is acting on the premise that there is something more important
